Professor Shannon Vallor Elected to the Royal Society of Edinburgh
We are excited to share that Professor Shannon Vallor, Co-Director of the Centre for Technomoral Futures, has been elected to the Royal Society of Edinburgh! Congratulations to Professor Vallor on this very well-deserved honour!
Professor Vallor has been elected as RSE Fellow as part of the 2026 cohort made up of 43 individuals (15 based at The University of Edinburgh!) deemed excellent in their field. It's wonderful to see the University of Edinburgh represented by so many of the fellows.
The RSE was founded in 1783 and leverages the combined knowledge of its 1,800-strong Fellowship to tackle the most pressing issues facing society, provide independent expert advice to policymakers and inspire the next generation of innovative thinkers.
