Data for Children Collaborative with UNICEF

A collaboration involving independent scholarly research on best practices in ethical assessment of research in the third sector. The research is conducted within the Department of Philosophy and Edinburgh Futures Institute’s Centre for Technomoral Futures, while working directly with the Data for Children Collaborative with UNICEF (DCC) as the central test bed for the research activities, helping to evaluate and refine the methodology for DCC’s own existing ethical assessment practices.

The Data for Children Collaborative with UNICEF is a partnership between UNICEF, The Scottish Government and the University of Edinburgh’s Data Driven Innovation Programme which seeks to enable improvement in outcomes for every child.
