Dr Beatrice Bonami is a Brazilian Science, Technology, and Society (STS) scholar and Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Edinburgh, focusing on the planetary networks and materiality of AI systems (with specific focus on data centres in the Global South).

Yuyun is a PhD student in Science, Technology and Innovation Studies. Her research studies the imaginaries of care robotics in China.

An EFI Visiting Fellow from September 2024 - February 2025, Dr Anissa Tanweer conducts research on the practice and culture of computationally-mediated science.

Dr Benedetta Catanzariti is a British Academy Post-Doctoral Fellow in Science, Technology and Innovation Studies at the University of Edinburgh. Her work explores the social, ethical, and political dimensions of data-driven technologies, with a focus on machine learning and its related data practices. She is also a core member of the Edinburgh-based network AI Ethics & Society.

Iñaki’s work investigates the role of dialogue design in shaping, discourse, normative content, and outcomes of public engagement with emerging technologies.
