Dr Beatrice Bonami is a Brazilian Science, Technology, and Society (STS) scholar and Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Edinburgh, focusing on the planetary networks and materiality of AI systems (with specific focus on data centres in the Global South).

Ismini Nikoleta Mathioudaki is a postdoctoral researcher on the Infralegalities project at the University of Edinburgh.

Nadia Jude is a postdoctoral researcher within the UKRI Future Leaders Fellowship project, Infra-Legalities: Global Security Infrastructures, AI and International Law.

Dr Enrico Galvagni is a Leverhulme Early Career Fellow in the Department of Philosophy. His research focuses on ethics and its development, with a particular interest in moral concepts and how they enable us to deal with new and disruptive problems.

Ayça is a multidisciplinary researcher and a lawyer working with and for children. She currently works as a post-doc researcher on the Grasping Data Project at the University of Edinburgh, where she also has a researcher co-lead role focusing on data protection and data ethics.

Dr Benedetta Catanzariti is a British Academy Post-Doctoral Fellow in Science, Technology and Innovation Studies at the University of Edinburgh. Her work explores the social, ethical, and political dimensions of data-driven technologies, with a focus on machine learning and its related data practices. She is also a core member of the Edinburgh-based network AI Ethics & Society.

Srravya’s research examines the work of data annotation for AI, paying particular attention to systemic challenges and frictions, to envision and inform just, equitable futures of AI design, policies and practice.
